Position: Dentist Location: Shildon Nurse Seekers are honoured to be working alongside a well-established, independently-run dental practice located in Shildon.
They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dentist to join their highly-skilled team.
The practice has fully modernised, state-of-the-art facilities, to ensure the best possible care is given to all patients.
Within the practice they provide a wide range of treatments, including general dentistry, cosmetic procedures, preventive dentistry and teeth whitening.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring the highest standards of treatment and patient satisfaction.
This role requires excellent clinical skills, a patient-focused approach, and a commitment to maintaining the oral health of every patient that walks through the door.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive dental care including diagnosis, treatment, management, and preventative services.
Perform routine dental examinations, fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and other dental procedures.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical histories.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative dental care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with NHS regulations and guidelines.
Work collaboratively with the dental team, including dental hygienists, dental nurses, and support staff.
Stay up to date with advancements in dental technology and techniques through ongoing professional development.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on building long-term patient relationships.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent).
Full registration with the GDC.
Valid NHS Performer Number.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to continuing professional development.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
