Assistant Transport Manager Glenrothes Onsite working - Monday-Friday, 08:00am-17:00pm Competitive salary Are you a Transport Manager or equivalent looking for an exciting move in to a growing new area within a large, industry leading organisation?
We are looking for a Assistant Transport Manager to join this impressive site during its development phase and we need someone to lead the change in Transport best practice for the overall improvement of the business.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the Transport team are fully operational and keeping to company requirements while performing day to day duties of financial reviews, weekly forecasting and ensuring safety standards are kept.
You will lead the team in keeping to transport requirements and ensuring best practice is delivered.
Primarily centred around Waste Management, this company is expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste.
They are leading key UK & Ireland sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.
Role Responsibilities: Managing Transport team on their duties such as transport admin, planning, customer query calls, debriefing drivers and ensure that transport operations are fully functional and operating correctly to company standard.
Day to day manage financial reviews, weekly forecasting, focusing on safety and compliance, and manage P&L's on all transport related duties for the business within the site area.
Focus on ways for business improvement and best practice within the Transport management and overall improvement of this teams functional practice What We Are Looking For?
