Assistant Technical Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic, diligent technical professional to join a food manufacturing business based in Edinburgh.
The main responsibility is to assist the Technical Manager with all aspects of product quality and food safety.
On Offer: £35,000 - £40,000 Monday Friday 9am – 5pm Further training and development Responsibilities BRC Internal audits HACCP audits Ability to host customer audits in absence of Technical Manager Traceability tasks RSPO mass balance Developing and improving operational process sheets Managing label system CCP training / CCP competency assessments Programme metal detectors / check weighers Organise and deliver, as required, training for employees (food safety, H&S) Checking new and existing artwork for compliance Up-date internal and retailer specifications Complaint handling Help with the implementation of new standards New product hand over to production You: The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment.
