Assistant Tax Manager

The Role Being one of the main points of contact on a portfolio of clients on day-to-day tax matters and working with Senior Managers and Managers on our larger client accountsSupporting on tax advisory projects by providing UK corporation tax input based on experience and researching topics and by working with other areas of tax and our overseas members firms to incorporate their input into our adviceEnsuring our clients are kept up to date with emerging corporate and wider tax developments impacting their businessSupporting on the delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services Supervising the work of junior members of staff and providing coaching to support their development.Assisting our Managers and Senior Managers with client account management, including complying with appropriate quality and risk management procedures and financial managementSupport the leadership with business development opportunities The person Qualified CTA or ACA / CA or equivalentUK corporation tax experienceAnalyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates, and integrates informationCommunicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent, and clearSustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at workTakes personal responsibility and accountability for managing own work and juggling competing prioritiesContinuously learns from experiences, seeking out feedback and development opportunitiesCoaches less experienced staff, giving clear directions and constructive feedbackWorks in a cooperative, respectful manner with colleagues, clients, and the wider communityBuilds the reputation of KPMG through the quality of work, knowledge, and experience
