Our client, an award-winning property management agency based in Watford, is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support their team in handling exciting new developments.
This full-time, permanent position is ideal for someone with a background in property or block management who is eager to advance their career.
The Assistant Property Manager will support daily property management activities, with responsibilities ranging from managing maintenance issues to communicating with clients and coordinating documentation for properties under management.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with drafting annual service charge budgets and various client communications.
Obtain quotations for works and manage maintenance issues through to completion.
Respond to enquiries from Freeholders, Leaseholders, Management Companies, and Tenants.
Support insurance claims and report any urgent issues to management.
Prepare for Annual General Meetings, attend, and take minutes where needed.
Draft and approve Section 20 Notices and assist with Health and Safety compliance.
Conduct property site visits, maintain accurate property records, and manage property access items such as keys and permits.
Upload new developments to property management software for efficient tracking.
Candidate Profile: Experience: Previous experience in property or block management is highly desirable.
Skills: Excellent communication, strong organisational abilities, and attention to detail.
Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrates a proactive approach in responding to enquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Other Requirements: A car is preferred for site visits.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Holiday: 24 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays.
