Assistant Project Engineer

We're looking for Assistant Project Engineers to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in the South West
Location : Can be based from our depots in either Hatherleigh, Okehampton, or Roche, Victoria, or Exeter
Hours : 45 hours per week
What will you be responsible for? As an Assistant Project Engineer, you'll be working within the South West Water team, supporting the project engineers and managers in delivering water and wastewater treatment improvement projects. You will help us deliver within budget and timescales, whilst complying with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
Your day to day will include:
Completing all necessary CDM documents, risk assessments, method statements and Health & Safety files Ensure onsite Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management and training Produce estimates, quotations and contract documents as well as procurement of plant, material and specialist subcontractors What are we looking for? This role of Assistant Project Engineer is great for you if you hold:
A mechanical and/ or electrical engineering degree or similar Experience/ knowledge or a desire to develop in the water and wastewater industry and it's technology A full driving licence An enthusiasm and drive to help us deliver projects with tight timescales and budgets, and a desire to develop yourself in the industry We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
