Applications are invited for the full time Band 4 Assistant Practitioner post working with the multi-disciplinary Tier 4 CAMHS Inpatient team.
The post holder will be based at the North Wales Adolescent Service in Abergele and will be expected to undertake assessments and interventions under the direction of the senior nursing team.
The post holder will be required to escort patients on trips out so must have a driving licence.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job To assist in the provision of a therapeutic service to young people on the inpatient ward under the direction of the Ward Manager and Senior Nursing Team.
To be responsible for the planning and prioritisation of own workload and activities following the direction and guidelines given by the Senior Team members.
To undertake ongoing assessment of young people and implement programmes of care or intervention following guidance from the Senior Team members.
To work within guidelines given by the supervising manager.
To undertake assessment of clients through direct and indirect observations.
To ensure appropriate clinical documentation is completed to support safe delivery of care.
To carry out assessments and interventions as directed by the supervisor To be a member of the appropriate multi-disciplinary team providing services to the young people, under the guidance of the Senior Team members.
