Assistant Planner / Planner Location: Stevenage Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) A long-established, award-winning multidisciplinary architectural and planning practice based in Stevenage is looking to recruit an Assistant Planner / Planner to join their growing town planning team.
The practice has a strong reputation for delivering creative, sustainable, and innovative solutions across a wide range of sectors.
About the Role: The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in planning and will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential, education, commercial, and infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience while working within a supportive and dynamic environment.
The role will involve working closely with senior team members and taking on projects suited to your experience, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as your skills grow.
Assistant Town Planner responsibilities will include: Assisting with planning applications, appeals, Local Plan representations, site promotions, and master planning.
Taking responsibility for projects aligned with your experience level, with potential for growth.
Collaborating with the planning team on a range of projects for an established client base.
Gaining exposure to a variety of sectors, including residential, education, commercial, and infrastructure.The Ideal Candidate: 1 to 3 years of experience in a planning consultancy or related environment.
Knowledge of the planning process and experience with planning applications and appeals.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive attitude and eagerness to take on responsibility and expand knowledge.What They Offer: A competitive salary in the range of £26,000 to £30,000, depending on experience.
