Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic andhighly motivated Assistant Patient support Officer (admin & clerical) towork as part of our friendly team which provides a diagnostic Cardiology andRespiratory service to both in-patients and out-patients.
The post involvesadministrative and reception duties, including dealing with patient and staffqueries, managing clinics on the Trust IT systems and making and amendingappointments.
The principal hospitals within County Durham and Darlington NHSFoundation Trust are University Hospital of North Durham, Darlington MemorialHospital, Bishop Auckland Hospital and Shotley Bridge Hospital.
The Cardiologyand Respiratory Investigation Units provide a broad range of invasive and noninvasive procedures.

Main duties of the job The successful candidate will workas part of a team in a busy Cardio-Respiratory Department.
