Job DescriptionOur client is looking to recruit a forward-thinking, motivated Assistant Parts Manager to lead and manage a multi-branded main department on a daily basis, and reporting to the Parts Manager.
This is working in excellent premises representing a number of main manufacturer brands.
Our client is looking for someone who can demonstrate being a leader of people.
You will need to have a strong knowledge on Parts KPIs and processes, whilst being an excellent communicator and people person.
You will be responsible for a team of Parts Advisors plus drivers, and all of the daily functions within the department.
The department's primarily focuses on supplying the Workshop back-counter, but also has a strong trade-counter operation including oversee's export.
Assistant Parts Manager Role:• Duties include the day to day running of the Parts Warehouse & Parts Call Centre.
Supervising the warehouse assistants, van drivers, parts advisors & outgoing deliveries• Running weekly stock reports and making sure daily stock checks are completed and input.• Managing holidays and cover within the department• Making sure sales targets are met.
Liaising with manufacturers on their trade programmes.• Supporting the Group Parts Manager with day-to-day tasks to ensure the department is running smooth.
About You:• The ideal candidate will be an excellent team worker, have great organisation.
Skills, the ability to work using their own initiative• Hold a full clean driving licence.• Continuous training will be provided to further knowledge & skill set for career progression.• To be able to motivate and lead by example This position would ideally suit an existing Parts Manager or Supervisor that has strong knowledge of running and overseeing a department.
Salary: Basic £30-35,000 with OTE £35-40,000Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm with alternative Saturday on rota
