The purpose of this role is as follows:
To engage fully in assisting the Organist and Director of Music, leading the musical elements of the Cathedral's life. To accompany, on the organ, the Cathedral Choir for the majority of the choral services. To take delegated responsibility for the Girl Choristers of the Cathedral Choir.
