Join TemplemoreCare Home in Northamptonas an Assistant Manager , where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home.
Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager: Assist the Manager and Deputy Manager in the efficient and caring running of the home.
Supervise and lead the staff team, ensuring a supportive and collaborative working environment.
Engage in direct care on a day-to-day basis, fostering a hands-on approach.
Report directly to the Home Manager or their appointed representative, performing all duties as outlined in the employment contract.
Duties in the Manager/Deputy Manager's Absence: Ensure the home operates to high standards and meets the requirements of proprietors, Local Authorities, Social Services, and Fire Prevention Officers.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of appropriate staff training.
Take responsibility for the medication system, including ordering, recording, administration, and disposal.
Assist in maintaining optimal staffing levels and the correct staff mix.
Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience: Must hold at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Experience in dementia care.
