The Role An exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Scotland Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team as an Assistant Manager, based in our Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen office.

Key aspect of the role will involve: Being one of the main points of contact on a portfolio of clients on day-to-day tax matters, working primarily with our Managers and our Senior ManagerSupporting on the delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services Supporting on tax advisory projects by providing UK corporation tax input, based on experience and researching topics, and by working with other areas of tax and our overseas members firms to incorporate their input into our adviceEnsuring our clients are kept up to date with emerging corporate and wider tax developments impacting their businessAssisting on the delivery of tax reporting and tax audit workSupervising the work of junior members of staff and providing coaching to support their development.Assisting our Managers and Senior Managers with client account management, including complying with appropriate quality and risk management procedures and financial managementSupport the leadership with business development opportunities The role would involve a mixture of tax compliance, reporting and advisory work and there would be flexibility around the weighting of time to these different components of the role based on your experience and areas of interest.
