Assistant Compliance Manager - Facilities Management - Warrington - £45,000 +PackageSector: FacilitiesWe are recruiting for a Assistant Compliance Manager with a bias in Hard Facilities Management to ensure that the maintenance operation complies with all relevant statutory and mandatory legislation in relation to the delivery of Hard FM services across multiple estates.The role is a permanent position circa 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri based from the WarringtonMain duties for the Assistant Compliance Manager (Facilities) role:To manage relationships with a comprehensive group of contractors, working pro-actively to ensure the resource is available to complete works within the schedule, or to complete reactive works within the contracted SLA.Management of non-compliance issues by engaging with the contractor to rectify the issue if escalated by the HelpdeskEngaging with contractors as a point of escalation beyond the Helpdesk to avoid non-complianceTo manage a programme of internal audits to ensure statutory compliance is adhered to and subject to the auditProduce a detailed report for key stakeholdersIdentify immediate gaps, highlight and escalate riskAgree and communicate corrective actionsUnderstand where non-compliance has occurred and understands the reason and investigate as necessaryResponsible for the health and safety of engineers, their working practices and the estates they operate within.To conduct regular site visits, reviewing the RAM's, carrying out toolbox talks, delivering bite size learning where requiredUndertaking reporting and audits as requiredTo support in the identification and escalation of job requests where there may be a safety implicationTo review all completed compliance jobs, ensuring it has been completed to standard and identifying any remedial works requiredInstruct helpdesk team to completed remedial works where requiredSupport with the management of certification / service sheets for the relevant assetsTo maintain an active and up to date Compliance registerRequirements:Understanding of HTM's desirablePractical knowledge of industry and technical standardsHigh level of M&E technical awareness5 Years experience in delivery of hard FM servicesExperience in a healthcare setting, or LIFT/PFI desirable but not essentialExperience of using CAFM systems - desirableAssertive and strong communication skillsAbility to prioritise and manage multiple work streamsEffective relationship management and the ability to influence stakeholdersCommitment to working within Health & Safety standards & ensuring complianceIOSHNEBOSH - desirable
