Assistant Manager - Client Onboarding & Regulatory Operations

Eden Scott's Client is looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager – Client Onboarding & Regulatory Operations to take a leadership role in ensuring our compliance with regulatory requirements and providing seamless onboarding for their Institutional and Corporate Services (ICS) clients.
This role combines operational oversight, client service excellence, and team leadership, making it an exciting opportunity for someone eager to progress their career in a fast-paced and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities: Client Onboarding Leadership: Manage and oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for ICS clients.
Review Client Due Diligence (CDD) documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Prepare and present business acceptance forms, chair business acceptance meetings, and accurately record meeting minutes.
Compliance Oversight: Approve CDD reviews triggered by periodic refreshes or events, ensuring compliance with AML legislation and regulatory requirements.
Conduct quality control through four-eye reviews of team administrators' work.
Complete regular and ad-hoc compliance reviews to mitigate risk.
Operational Management: Prepare and analyse Management Information (MIS) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for internal and external reporting purposes.
Drive team participation in projects related to quality assurance, risk management, and compliance.
Maintain high standards of operational efficiency and adapt processes to meet evolving regulations.
Team Development & Leadership Act as a mentor to team administrators, providing guidance and support on complex cases.
Ensure the team adheres to CPD requirements and regulatory standards.
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in line with the Group's core values.
Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism.
Collaborate with senior management to implement strategic initiatives and improve operational processes.
Person Specification Significant experience in an operational onboarding or KYC role, preferably dealing with funds and corporate clients.
Proven track record of managing complex regulatory and compliance tasks.
Experience in minute-taking and chairing meetings is highly desirable.
High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional time management and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a passion for team development.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
