Equifind are partnering with a fast growing, FX Broker based in Canary Wharf, who are looking to hire a Permanent Assistant Management Accountant.
Our client is looking for an aspiring Accountant who is definitely eager to learn about FX in a fast-paced, fresh, young environment.
The role will consist of an on-site working pattern being based 5-days in the office.

Duties & Responsibilities: The key responsibilities for the Permanent Assistant Management Accountant working for this dynamic FX firm based in Canary Wharf will be: Assist with the preparation of the management accounts for the group.
Responsible for preparing the month-end prepayments and accruals.
Manage quarterly period close procedures including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
Produce year-end audit files for subsidiaries and be a point of contact for any queries.
Review and authorise AP invoices for posting and validity for designated entities across the group.
Help integrate the new software with the back office and accounting systems to a new consolidated platform.
Support other ongoing specialist projects across the business as and when required.
Application Criteria: Anything from 6-12 Months experience within a finance function.
Have an ambition or real desire to pursue the CIMA or ACCA qualification.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-growing environment.
Strong work ethic and good culture.
Experience of working in the financial services sector.
Used to working in a flexible and agile environment to meet strict deadlines.
Exposure to multi-currencies is a plus as well as already physically sat accounting exams (AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
Compensation: This Permanent Assistant Management Accountant role based in Canary Wharf will be paid a competitive market based salary of between £35,000 - £38,000 PA.
