Assistant / Location Planning Analyst (Retail) Hybrid/Location Flexible Macdonald & Company have been instructed by a leading retail organisation who are on the lookout for an assistant location planning analyst.
This role will initially provide support to the more senior analysts and further training will be provided where required.
This post is a hybrid role and applicants can be based anywhere, as long as they are able and prepared to cover a southern geographical and visit sites once a week/twice a fortnight.
A willingness to travel and a full driver's license is accordingly essential!
Day to day, the role will include; Key Responsibilities: Analyse potential sites using GIS, mapping, and demographic data to support acquisitions.
Forecast sales for new stores, relocations, and downsizes.
Respond to ad-hoc location analysis requests from the business.
Visit stores and strategy areas to assess competitor activity and site potential.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
About You: Experience with GIS systems and data analysis.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
Team player with the ability to build relationships across functions.
(Desirable) Knowledge of the UK retail landscape.
This role is paying circa £32,000 - £40,000 (dependent upon experience), along with an excellent benefits package.
