Role and Responsibilities As the Assistant Headteacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Headteacher and senior leadership team to drive forward the school's vision and ethos.
Your role will include: Leading and developing the primary school curriculum to engage and inspire students with SEMH needs.
Working closely with the SENCO and pastoral team to promote student well-being and inclusive practice.
Implementing effective teaching strategies and interventions to support student progress and engagement.
Leading staff training and professional development to enhance the quality of teaching and support across the school.
Fostering a positive, nurturing school culture in line with SEMH values and approaches.
Essential Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with leadership experience in primary or SEMH settings.
Proven experience working with children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff.
A commitment to inclusive education and a child-centered approach.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle complex situations with care and effectiveness.
