Assistant Greenkeeper

The maintenance team plays a pivotal role in preserving the pristine condition of our renowned course.
Equipped with a fleet of modern machinery and supported by top-quality welfare facilities, the team ensures that every inch of the course is impeccably maintained throughout the year.

Salary based above industry recommendations, £27,400 DOE.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our maintenance team at Corhampton Golf Club.
A strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to the team are essential qualities.
Experience in greenkeeping, machinery operation, and health and safety knowledge will be highly advantageous, though a passion for maintaining high standards is equally important.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively, supporting both senior and junior colleagues, and demonstrating effective communication skills.
As the role involves working outdoors and staying mobile for extended periods, a good level of physical fitness is required.

Ensure the golf course is presented in the best possible condition, meeting high standards of quality and appearance.
Operate all common turf maintenance machinery and hand tools confidently, backed by sufficient work experience.
Perform daily course setup tasks, including raking bunkers, repairing divots, and changing holes.
Carry out maintenance of the clubhouse and surrounding areas to enhance overall presentation.
Use machinery in full compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Demonstrate pride in your work with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

About You:
~ NVQ Level 2 in sports turf management or similar preferred.
~2 Years Greenkeeping experience preferred.
~ Understand the game of golf.
~ Have your own transport.
