Job Description £28,000 - 30.000 per annum  Necessary training provided The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the restaurant and bar, direct F&B team to ensure that customers are satisfied with their dining experience and manage the business to ensure it is profitable.
Assistant F&B Manager is responsible for managing food and beverage costs, upholding menu standards and controlling inventory.
Carry out Duty Management shifts accordingly DM ROTA and business needs.
The job role responsibilities will be discussed  during The Interview and confirmed through your Offer letter and Contract.
We are looking for our  Assistant Food and Beverage Manager , who: Assists in managing day-to-day operations of the breakfast, M&E, restaurant, bar, and room service Ensures smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams Monitors inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels Handles guest inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly Upholds health, safety, and sanitation standards Assists with budgeting, cost control, and achieving revenue targets Shares our values: Trust, Respect, Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Commitment & Care Has previous experience as a  Restaurant & Bar Manager  or  Assistant Food & Beverage Manager  in a hotel Qualifications Your experience and skills include:Service focused personality is essential Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset Prior experience working with Opera or a related system Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example Additional Information Your team and working environment: Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House is 4* hotel located at the quite village called Iffley in Oxford.
