Assistant Financial Accountant

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector organisation based in the North East who are looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant.
The role will initially be for 3 months which will then lead into a permanent position.
Duties: Provide VAT advice to other Finance Departments and responsible for the VAT returns Treasury Management and Control of Cash Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations Responsible for Technical and Control Accounts Leadership and development of junior members of staff Person: Strong with systems - including MS Excel Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management
