We are now recruiting for a part time Assistant Financial Accountant.
This role is primarily to support the Financial Accountant with all areas of compliance, specifically to include preparing Statutory Year End Accounts and Corporation Tax returns.
The role may also include support to other senior members of the team and involvement in ad-hoc projects and processes.
Principle Responsibilities Assist in the preparation Year End accounts compliant with FRS 102 and Companies Act for circa 65 entities in the group.
Assist in the preparation of Tax computations and CT600's to accompany the Year End statutory accounts.
Assist in the quarterly VAT preparation and submission process for circa 20 group entities.
Support the Financial Accountant with other compliance areas such as R&D, CIS Tax, Office of National Statistics filings, Corporation tax calculations.
Support in the implementation and development of new ERP system.
Support in company rationalisation projects.
Management of CCO and SAO compliance processes.
Requirements Experience of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax Strong Excel skills Desired Skills Working towards a professional qualification (AAT/ACA / ACCA preferred) Experience of Sage 50 and Sage 200 Experience of Xero Experience of working with a group of companies This role will be part time, offering 22.5 - 30 hours a week.
