We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Finance Team in Telford.The ideal candidate would be studying towards AAT and looking to gain valuable experience in a busy Finance Team.
Key responsibilities in the role of the Assistant Financial Accountant, will include: Fixed Asset Creations, Capitalisations and Disposals (UP TO 250 assets created a month) Depreciation cycles through SAP Asset Under Construction reviews Review and transact Inter Company transfers General Ledger code clearing down in SAP Various monthly journals Private fuel postings Allocation of hours to Projects Monitoring movements on Vehicle Fleets Review leases in line with IFRS16 and review lease end dates Physical Verifications Impairment Reviews Month End Reconciliations from Register to General Ledger Assistance with Year end Audit Use of Excel spreadsheets to present and analyse key information Assistant Financial Accountant key skills & experience: Part qualified AAT, or qualified by experience Advanced Excel skills SAP experience preferable Working knowledge of IFRS16 Must be able to think clearly, deliver quickly and accurately Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated and be able to work to deadlines Ability to build effective working relationships internal and external Mller pride ourselves on offering support to help develop your knowledge and skills.
