Assistant Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team at a timelessly elegant hotel, offering bespoke services, nestled in Marylebone, London.
As the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise, motivate, and manage the Housekeeping team to maintain exceptional standards in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms and public spaces.
Oversee daily cleanliness and upkeep, ensuring adherence to departmental SOPs and LQA standards.
Manage staff rosters, maintaining efficiency and payroll control in line with occupancy and budget.
Ensure proper stock levels of linen and uniforms, and oversee their cleanliness and rotation.
Work with the Executive Housekeeper and Room Division Manager on redecorating rooms and public areas.
Supervise the laundry, dry-cleaning, and lost property procedures.
Assist with the training, development, and performance management of the team, ensuring all statutory training is completed and recorded.
Support the Executive Housekeeper with departmental budgets, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
Essential Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within Housekeeping in a luxury property.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring efficiency and smooth operations.
Knowledge of Health and Safety standards, COSHH, and other relevant regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What We Are Offering: Salary: Up to £40,000 per year, depending on experience.
