Assistant Engineering Manager

The HireWorks are currently working with a transport company based in Cambridge who are recruiting for an Assistant Engineering Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

The role would be working on a range of shifts across Monday to Friday with weekends being worked on a rota basis.
Typical duties would include: Manage and supervise the engineering team daily.
Support and advise the team on vehicle maintenance and repair.
Ensure vehicles meet high standards for customer presentation.
Maintain team health and safety.
The successful candidate: Supervisory/management experience in vehicle maintenance.
Strong technical vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Would hold a relevant hands on engineering qualification.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Strong commitment to health and safety.
