Assistant Director Of Finance

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Assistant Director of Finance within a Public Sector organisation based in the North West.
This will be for an initial 3 months however could be extended due to work load.
Responsibilities: Producing financial board reports and sticking to tight deadlines Responsible for managing the surgical division as well as 3 finance staff Challenging consultants and Senior non financial staff with Patient Level Information Costing (PLICs) and developing plans for future efficiency savings Accountable for the monthly financial reporting, putting together and presenting monthly financial and activity performance narratives at monthly board meetings Proactively working with and engaging surgeons in financial management issues Liaising with senior stakeholders and budget holders Board reporting and engaging with board members to discuss progress on key projects and also presented the financial performance reports to the board Excellent management skills leading a team through a period of change Person: Excellent communication skills and can liaise with all levels of staff NHS experience is essential
