Job Title: Assistant Director of Medical Workforce Hourly Rate: £30.00 - £33.50 per hour Contract: Temporary – ASAP for 12 weeks Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Location: Peterborough City Hospital (Agile working available – mix of home and office-based) About the Role Meridian Business Support is  seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Medical Workforce to join the Workforce and OD Directorate Senior Management Team.
This is a key leadership position, managing and leading the Medical Workforce teams and service across the Trust.
The successful candidate will deliver a professional, responsive, and effective medical workforce service.
They will provide expert management, advice, and guidance on all medical workforce matters, including: Terms and conditions of service Employee relations Job planning and appraisals Revalidation processes Rota design Education, development, and transformation initiatives  Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of medical workforce policies in compliance with NHS standards, legislation, and best practices.
Design and execute employee relations interventions with measurable impact.
Provide strategic and operational leadership in workforce planning and development.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality workforce services that support the Trust's goals.
