Job Introduction As an Assistant Cook, you will be assisting with the preparation and delivery of a healthy and delicious menu for our students and staff, using our fresh ingredients.
You will focus on delivering the highest quality of food and service along with having the initiative, creativity and attention to detail to make school mealtimes interesting.
Main Responsibilities Using our carefully selected recipes to bring our nutritious menus to life with excellent taste and presentation Ensuring the highest standards of Food Hygiene, Allergen and Health and Safety compliance Working with the team to create a fun, friendly and delicious dining experience for students and staff, in line with company standards Building positive relationships with clients and customers The Ideal Candidate We are looking for somebody who shares our passion for serving great tasting food and providing excellent service, maintaining the highest standards at all times, along with the following: Craft based experience using fresh ingredients, preferably within an education setting You should have Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 (further training will be available) Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a kitchen Self motivation, creativity and ability to use your own initiative
