Ladwa Recruitment are working alongside a listed organisation to hire an Interim Assistant Company Secretary (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) .
Working closely with the Company Secretary, this is a brilliant opportunity to work with an inclusive, challenging and nurturing company and team.
The Secretariat function collaboratively works with all Head Office functions, from the Executive Board through to supporting functions throughout the business.
The team is required to provide a central source of guidance and advice within the Company on matters of business ethics, good corporate governance and legal/regulatory compliance.
Responsible for the AGM and supporting the Company Secretary with the preparation of the Annual Report (inc. drafting the statutory governance related reports and collating the information they contain).
To undertake general administration for the Board and Committees meetings, preparing Board pack, arranging meetings, taking minutes, writing reports.
Support the Group's Compliance, Risk and ESG programme.
Support with the delivery of the Group's employee and executive share plans.
Manage the Group's portfolio of subsidiary companies and maintain records and communications of these.
Our client is looking for a well organised, resourceful and self-motivated governance and company secretarial professional.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a listed plc environment.
A candidate with strong written and verbal communication, as well as excellent organisational skills is integral.
