Job summary The Resuscitation, Simulation & Skills Team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for professionals with passion, dedication, and commitment to excellence in education.
The team delivers education in a broad range of disciplines to a wide variety of learners.
You will assist the department, in the organisation, administration, and delivery of a wide range of training programmes including Resuscitation, Clinical Simulation and Clinical Skills.
The Resuscitation, Skills and Simulation team is a friendly and supportive team of highly skilled professional educators, working across both Trust sites.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated educator to join our forward thinking, inclusive team.
Main duties of the job You will assist the Head of Resuscitation, Simulation & Skills in managing, developing and delivering a wide variety of courses to learners from all healthcare disciplines.
You will also be expected to support learners in the clinical setting and take part in collecting audit data and patient safety projects.
You will have excellent communication and administration skills to ensure the best experience on our advanced courses.
The ability to work on your own initiative, problem solve, prioritise your workload, manage projects and meet deadlines is essential.
Excellent IT skills are a prerequisite including Word, Excel, and databases.
A teaching qualification or experience would be advantageous as the post will involve some teaching of BLS/Skills and assisting with Simulation as required You will be supported to develop your career in a variety of opportunities, and be involved in all aspects of equipment management, audit activities, multidisciplinary events, and national and local patient safety initiatives.
This post will be required to work across all trust sites as required.

Person Specification Experience Essential o Experience as a healthcare provider.
oEvidence of delivering training to groups and 1-1. oExcellent IT and organisational Skills, ability to prioritise key tasks and act appropriately Desirable oExperience of undertaking audits oKnowledge of resuscitation/ Clinical Skills /Simulation oKnowledge of National Courses (ALS/EPALS etc.)
Qualifications Essential oFoundation degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Desirable oRecognised teaching qualification Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Essential oAble to influence and overcome resistance though application of communication skills oGood presentation, teaching and assessment skills oAble to produce and present factual information and refer questions to others where appropriate.
oAble to deal with sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
oAbility to develop effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues in the health care setting.
oWork under own initiative with minimal support.
oComputer literate (Microsoft packages) oAbility to undertake clinical observations (BP, Pulse, Resps, Temp, & oximetry).
oKnowledge and understanding of Resuscitation Council Standards.
o Evidence of on-going personal and professional development.
Desirable oUnderstanding of current NHS issues and transformation.
oUnderstanding of quality and change in the clinical setting oECDL or other recognised IT qualification
