Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Category Manager to join our New Product Development (NPD) team.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Category Manager, Insights Lead, and Engineering teams to successfully deliver innovative new products that align with our strategic product hierarchy and development roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of NPD project delivery as a key stakeholder, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of projects, even those outside your designated product category.
Adhere to the Stage Gate (SG) process diligently.
Prepare and present SG decks, ensuring all submissions are comprehensive and accurate by working closely with relevant teams.
Exhibit strong knowledge of your product category, understanding industry demands and customer needs.
Produce thorough product specifications and analyse competitive positioning within the market.
Maintain a solid understanding of category performance metrics and contribute strategically through your NPD initiatives.
Lead the VOC efforts on NPD projects to validate concepts and ensure success in meeting customer expectations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in product management or a similar role, preferably with NPD focus.
Strong analytical skills and expertise in market trends.
Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
