We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing team in Brooklands, Weybridge.
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you will support on the development of the European brand strategy and brand plan delivery to achieve budgeted sales and profit targets in line with the business strategy, targets and company budgets.
The Role: - Support the Senior Brand Manager in developing the annual marketing plan for specific brands from portfolio including asset creation - Be brand custodian & 'voice' of agreed brands internally and externally and implement brand plans - Assist with relevant brand management duties, including organisation of listings and availability, pricing exercises, promotional and distribution trackers and preparation of licensor quarterly business reviews as required - Assist in compiling findings from competitive reviews and sales performance data for the provision of business reviews / strategic planning - Assist the Marketing Team with the general day to day implementation of brand and trade marketing activity - Work with the Marketing and Sales Teams to co-ordinate the preparation & provision of sales tools for new product launches, including preview presentations - Monitor brand performance including listings, NPD, rate of sale, media, instore activation, and identify & deliver corrective action with the support of your line manager - To be aware and own communication on any critical path & product information changes and to share this with the European Sales & Marketing teams - Deliver appropriate marketing communications duties, including media planning, PR activities and social media content development & execution for relevant brands - Prepare competitor / market reviews in response to business / product opportunities as and when they arise - Be the guardian for mock ups & models for new products - track product models during preview months and organise packaging mock-ups and product samples to be sent to customers as needed - Opportunity to be given specific product projects in order to develop marketing skills - Opportunity to shadow members of the team at key meetings in order to develop marketing acumen - Question the norms of what we've done previously, seeking new and innovative ways to solve today's challenges and create new opportunities.

The ideal candidate will: - Be educated to degree level or equivalent - Have at least one or two years' experience in Marketing - Be highly organized in their approach - Be highly proactive - Be skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint TOMY offers a hybrid working approach, which allows employees to benefit from working 2 days per week from home (Mondays and Fridays).
Full-time attendance in our Brooklands office may be required for the initial training period, to enable the successful candidate to gain the relevant skills needed for the role.
The salary range is £27,500 - £30,000 and is dependent on experience.
