Assistant Accountant + Study Package

We are excited to be working with a reputable, growing company based close to Castleford who are looking for an assistant accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This role will work within a team of 4 and report into the finance director within the business.
This is an exciting time for an ambitious candidate to join and develop within the accounts team.
This role would suit someone who is AAT qualified or studying, or someone who has graduated with a degree in accounting and finance.
Duties will include; Bank reconciliations Cash flow forecasting Purchase ledger; processing and matching invoices to a high standard Weekly payment runs Supplier reconciliations Assist with VAT returns Assist with journals Assisting with month end; accruals/prepayment Other ad hoc duties as the role develops Skills: SAGE experience would be an advantage Strong IT skills and the understanding on MS Excel would be an advantage Benefits: 37.5 hours per week across Mon-Fri Hybrid working once settled into the company usually 1 or 2 days from home Company private pension scheme Study support (depending on the level) Bonus scheme (Profit related) Health care benefit Cycle to work scheme EV car scheme
