Our client is on the lookout for an Assistant Accountant to join their Wrexham Head Office!
If you've got well-rounded experience in accounts, bookkeeping, and handling purchase/sales ledgers, this role could be perfect for you.
Ideally, theyre looking for candidates with an AAT qualification (or equivalent).

The Job Handling queries related to purchase/sales ledgers youre the go-to for answers!
Reconciling supplier statements and payments keeping everything in check.
Making sure those bank balances reconcile perfectly.
Helping out with transactional processing (think raising invoices, posting, and a bit of credit control).
Processing weekly external payroll payments and journals.
Preparing monthly and annual ledger reconciliations like a pro.
Managing inter-company journals and recharges.
Allocating expenses and handling company credit cards.

You may be asked to take on other reasonable duties as needed.
The You Previous experience in a similar accounting role if youve done it, they want to hear about it!
Ideally, youre AAT qualified.
Familiarity with Sage 50 would be a plus.
Any construction industry experience?
Even better!
Experience in an SME would be super helpful.
