Temporary Assistant Accountant - 3-Week Assignment Location: Near Worcester (easily accessible via motorway, with ample parking) Contract: Temporary, 3 weeks Hourly Pay: Competitive, based on an equivalent annual salary of £30,000 - £45,000 (commensurate with experience) The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Temporary Assistant Accountant to support our client through their year-end process.
This role involves pulling together 13 sets of statutory accounts, working from Trial Balance through to finalising statements.
Key Responsibilities: Finalise 13 sets of statutory accounts using provided templates and previous years' accounts for guidance Input financial figures, update notes, and ensure compliance with statutory reporting standards Ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial statements This is not a 'from scratch' role; much of the groundwork has been completed, so your expertise will help to shape and finalise the accounts efficiently.
About You: Qualifications: Full or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / AAT) Experience: Proven track record in producing statutory accounts from Trial Balance Skills: Strong attention to detail, effective time management, and an ability to work independently This role offers a great opportunity to contribute your expertise to a supportive and professional environment.
