My client is hiring an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team in Stockton-on-Tees on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will manage daily financial operations and provide support to the wider finance team.Key Responsibilities:Processing invoices on SageManaging Sales Ledger and Purchase LedgerConducting bank reconciliationsHandling weekly and monthly payrollAssisting with monthly accounts preparationPreparing financial statementsCompleting VAT returnsSupporting the Financial Controller with administrative duties and yearly accounts preparationEssential Skills:Strong Excel skillsExperience with SageProven experience in AccountsAdditional information:Hours: 8am-5pm (42.5 hours per week)Hybrid working options (discussed individually)25 days holiday plus bank holidays4% pension contributionFree on-site parkingIf you're passionate about finance and looking to make an impact within a forward-thinking company, we'd love to hear from you!
