Assistant Accountant

Your new company Our client is a not for profit business in Manchester, looking for an Assistant Accountant to join on a 6-month contract, with extension/permanent opportunity for the right person.
Your new role You will be responsible for: Assisting with preparation of budget and forecast Preparing and processing monthly payments Monthly bank reconciliations and managing the month-end process Reconciling all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis Maintaining fixed asset and stock register Assisting with processing monthly payroll UK and International payroll What you'll need to succeed ACCA part qualified/Qualified as/working towards AAT or similar Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and a good understanding of financial processes and procedures Experience of working with QuickBooks Excellent organisational skills Flexible, can-do attitude and a good team player What you'll get in return You will join a fantastic business that makes a difference in the world and cares about their team.
A salary between £30,000-£34,000 dependent on your experience level.
Access to their excellent benefits, 35 hours per working week, 25 days holiday per year plus 8 public holidays, and a hybrid working model.
