Assistant Accountant

Robert Half are currently working with a business based in Gloucester who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join initially on an interim basis for a period of 3-4 months.
Role: Assistant Accountant/Senior Accounts Assistant Salary: Up to £31,000 (Hourly/daily rate equivalent) Duration: Circa 3 - 4 months Start date: ASAP Working pattern: Full time - 4 days in the office per week, one day working from home + Flexible working hours Responsibilities include: Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliations Assist with Fixed Asset Register Assist with accruals and prepayments Monthly inter-company reconciliation Journal posting Maintain the Accounts Payable ledger Maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger Supplier statement reconciliations Expenses Person Specification Computer literate Self-motivated and ability to manage workload effectively Excellent communication skills Previous experience in managing both sides of the ledger as a minimum Previous experience in assisting with management accounts/month end process - Desirable Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
