Weve partnered with a rapidly expanding company thats on the hunt for an experienced Assistant Accountant to bring their skills and enthusiasm to a forward-thinking finance department.
W hat Youll Be Doing: - Managing the bookkeeping process to ensure everything runs smoothly - Handling purchase and sales orders with precision - Overseeing credit control - Preparing and presenting financial reports - Crafting monthly management reports, highlighting company performance - Analysing financial data - Completing quarterly VAT returns - Managing ledgers, accruals and prepayments - Tackling general administrative duties such as filing, data entry and general office support What Were Looking For: - At least 3 years experience in a similar role - AAT qualification (or similar) - Knowledge of Sage 50 or 200 systems - Strong communication skills and the confidence to work independently - Advanced Excel skills - A proactive and self-motivated attitude The Perks: - Comprehensive Health Benefit Scheme - Generous 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays) - Pension scheme, helping you plan for the future - A collaborative and supportive team where your contributions truly matter!
