Assistant Accountant

7twenty Professional Search is exclusively partnering with one of Northern Irelands leading infrastructure organisations, Belfast City Airport, as they seek to appoint an Assistant Accountant.
Belfast City Airport operates as a vital infrastructure asset in Northern Ireland that provides a major gateway for business and leisure passengers, whilst acting as a catalyst for direct and indirect employment opportunities, making a significant contribution to the countrys growing prosperity.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, the Assistant Accountant's position will involve working accurately and in a timely manner to produce financial information on sales, costs, debtors and supporting the month and year end process.
This will involve liaising with members of the finance team and non-financial staff from other departments.
The successful candidate will display the following experience and skills: Part Qualified, or recently qualified accounting qualification such as CIMA/ACA/ACCA/FCA etc.
Advanced working knowledge of windows-based software including Microsoft Excel.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and colleagues during a period of organisational change.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
