This role requires an experienced and qualified individual who can deliver high-quality training and assessment on Plumbing and Electric Heating Apprenticeships both on College sites and within the workplace.
As an Assessor/Lecturer, you will work in partnership with the curriculum delivery team in the main study programme, fostering the growth of future professionals in the industry.
To be considered for this role, you must have relevant qualifications and experience in Plumbing and Domestic Heating.
Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate experience in delivering high-quality teaching and assessment.

Key Responsibilities - Deliver and assess competence-based training including group or classroom-based sessions, in the workplace or College environment.
- Set, mark, and assess students' work, ensuring that learning outcomes have been met and that feedback is both detailed and constructive.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant course subject matter, industrial/commercial developments, course examination/assessment requirements, and legislation.
- Use technology, including the college's virtual learning environment, effectively to enable independent learning at any time or place.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the development of self and others and to ensure the continuous improvement of performance.
- Provide a point of contact for student welfare issues referring problems on where they are complex or serious, communicating poor patterns of attendance and punctuality to co-ordinators.
Requirements: - Experience in delivering high quality teaching/assessment and learning on Plumbing and Domestic Heating Apprenticeships.
- Relevant qualifications in Plumbing and Domestic Heating.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, or equivalent packages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in order to deliver individual and team objectives.
- Desirable to have own vehicle with business insurance or willingness to get this to support the role and required assessments.
