Aspiring Psychologist - Mental Health Support - Slough A really rewarding position has become available for a Mental Health Support Worker to work in a school in Slough.

These students struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD and various other mood disorders.
These young people need someone who can facilitate a positive and safe environment for them to learn and grow.
The students are between the ages of 2 and 19, so you would have the opportunity to work with students of all ages and backgrounds!
This can making learning really difficult, this is where you would come in.
As a mental health assistant you will directly be involved in helping children manage and cope with their emotions and mental health.
You will be helping to make learning fun and engaging whilst also ensuring that learning is becoming concrete.
Your day-to-day duties will involve supporting and shadowing the class teacher, whilst providing 1:1 support for the SEN students.
You will also help run exciting lessons to ensure the classroom is a fun and exciting place.
Behavioural management may also be required.
