Asd Teaching Assistant

1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant required Classroom Teachers Ltd are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 6 student with ASD.
As a 1:1 ASD SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the student with ASD on a 1:1 basis, providing support and assistance to help the student make progress in their academic and personal development.
The role is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm Responsibilities Supporting the student with transition from home schooling back into school Providing support and assistance to help the student make progress in their academic and personal development Working closely with the teacher to ensure that the student's needs are being met Supporting the student throughout the day, both in and out of the classroom there will be a week or so at home building a rapport Liaising with parents and other professionals to ensure that the student is receiving the best possible support and care Requirements: Experience working with autism This is an immediate start, DBS on the update service is required.
