These students have ASD as their main diagnosis, and with ASD often comes a variety of other learning difficulties.
These students will also struggle with OCD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Verbal difficulties as well as language processing disorders.
As an ASD Support Worker, your main duties day to day will be to help students cope with their school work as well as to encourage and facilitate a safe and fun environment where learning can take place.
You will be there to support students on every step of their academic journey.
While your main priority is to be there for the students, you will also be supporting the class teacher.
