OCU Group are seeking an As-Built Administrator.
You will be responsible for the Administration of documentation of as-built drawings and records for construction projects.
They ensure that the final documentation accurately reflects the completed construction work and meets the requirements of clients, regulatory bodies, and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities Oversee the collection, organization, and management of all as-built documentation, including drawings, plans, specifications, and technical records, throughout the construction project lifecycle.
Coordinate with project engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to obtain as-built information and drawings reflecting the final construction layout, modifications, and installations.
Review and verify as-built drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Implement quality control measures to ensure that as-built documentation meets established standards and is free from errors, discrepancies, or omissions.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify the integrity and reliability of as-built records.
Act as a central point of contact for as-built documentation inquiries and coordination efforts between project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Facilitate communication and collaboration to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of accurate as-built information.
Maintain comprehensive records of all as-built documentation, revisions, and updates, including version control, tracking changes, and documenting approvals or authorizations for modifications.
Ensure that as-built documentation complies with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing construction projects.
Prepare and submit reports, progress updates, and documentation deliverables as required by project specifications and contractual agreements.
Skills & Experience Strong understanding of construction drawings, engineering principles, and construction terminology.
Proficient in CAD software and other relevant tools used for drafting, design, and documentation management.
Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing, verifying, and compiling as-built drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Excellent organizational and project management skills to effectively coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact with project teams, stakeholders, and external parties.
Ability to convey technical information effectively and facilitate collaboration among diverse groups.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose practical solutions to resolve discrepancies or conflicts in as-built documentation.
Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Familiarity with construction regulations, building codes, and industry standards governing the compilation and documentation of as-built records for construction projects in the UK.
