The Role The successful candidate will: Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive Art lessons that cater to a range of abilities and needs, ensuring accessibility for all pupils.
Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team to support the school's ethos and individual learning plans.
Promote creativity, self-expression, and a love of art, enabling pupils to develop their skills, confidence, and artistic voices.
Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities, including exhibitions and community art projects.
Foster a safe and positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A strong background in teaching Art, preferably with experience in special education or working with pupils with additional needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient approach to teaching.
Proven ability to differentiate lessons and employ creative strategies to meet diverse needs.
Commitment to professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
