This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000 per annum, with the potential for a permanent contract after a successful probation period.
The start date is flexible, with February or April 2025 options available depending on the successful candidate's notice period.
Role Overview As an Art Teacher, you will inspire and nurture students' creativity, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative lesson plans, assess student progress, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic and supportive Art department.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and dynamic Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering creativity and critical thinking.
Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages students to explore various artistic techniques and concepts.
Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Contribute to the school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
Ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
A strong passion for art and a commitment to nurturing students' creativity.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, students, and parents.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
