We are recruiting a newly qualified GP - the criteria is in line with the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme and is a fixed term, temporary contract from January 2025 until 31st March 2025.

To be eligible for this role, you must be within two years of certificate of completion of training at the start date of employment and have not previously held a substantive post as a General Practitioner.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking, enthusiastic GP.
The successful candidate will deliver 7 sessions per week across three practices (who form part of Chorley Central PCN): Coppull Medical Centre Euxton Medical Centre our combined population is circa 20,000 patients.
Exact work pattern to be further discussed.
CPD entitlement will be factored in the work plan.
In this role, you will join our team and deliver excellent clinical care to our patient population.
We are a supportive team and encourage ongoing development.
The successful candidate will have access to practice internal education sessions.
Main duties of the job As a salaried GP, your will play a crucial role in the provision of primary healthcare services.
Undertake surgery consultations including face-to-face, digital, online, telephone Thedelivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population Theprovision of services commensurate with the primary care contract.
Genericprescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
Effectivemanagement of long-term conditions.
Processingof administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptionrequests and other associated administrative tasks Ona rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles.
Maintainaccurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy andguidance Home visits - please note visits will be below average as all 3 sites has a first contact paramedic team Please refer to the job description for full details.

Person SpecificationQualifications Newly qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner - certificate of completion of training CCT Experience Newly qualified GP (less than 2 years of certificate) General understanding of the primary care contract.
Experience of medicines management Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
