Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around 7,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations.

There are many different functions and professions delivering key outputs for the Army.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the British Army's communications team as the Content Manager working within the dynamic British Army Content Team, ensuring that the content created is meeting Army Communication objectives, that workloads are fair and balanced, whilst monitoring and ensuring the continuing evolution of the Armys creative content, working closely with colleagues in the Media team and Campaigns.
The role is varied, and you will coordinate content in support of news, campaign and digital communications activities, leading the content creators in sourcing, curating and coordinating content for Army channels.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Job description You will be expected to manage a team of Content Creators, reviewing their work and offering advice, mentorship and training in order to improve their skills.
You will be ensuring the quality of products they produce, as well as protect them pastorally; managing their workload, responsibilities and communications where needed.
You will need to provide training to partners and collaborators in what audiences and channels are best placed to spread their message efficiently and effectively, and how to format customised content to help achieve this for each specific campaign or project.
Furthermore, you will be expected to investigate the latest trends and styles of content that are most effective on social media, emulating and re-working our content to align it to what our target audiences consume.
You will be asked to lead and develop relationships with key personnel across the Army, military counterparts, and civil servants in order to provide content sign off and assurance process and ensuring effective distribution.
This includes implementing relevant policies, governance and standards for content and help Army organisations to adopt such policies, governance and standards.
You will be expected to lead on the archiving process, to ensure that imagery and video are accurately archived and retrievable, ensuring that all data collected on the archive is compliant to GDPR, Copyright and Data Protection rules and laws.
