Area Service Manager   Covering the Kent region   £53,984.76 per annum - rising to £56,826 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance plus Company Car or Car Allowance (£8,279.44)   37.5 hours per week with flexibility to meet business need, predominantly Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm     At Sanctuary Supported Living, we specialise in delivering a wide range of personalised housing, care, and support services to help people across England to live as independently as possible.

The awards and accreditations we've achieved only tell a small part of the story, but they do shine a light on the positive impact that supported living services can in helping people on their pathway to independence   The role of Area Service Manager will include: As part of your role, you will take on the role of Registered Manager with Ofsted for our Young People Housing Related Support Services in the area supporting the local management team.
Lead and manage the delivery and strategic development of high quality services for a geographical service area that respond to customer, organisational and financial needs and result in the creation or continuation of sustainable services in support of business aims and objectives.
Support the delivery of the strategic plan for Sanctuary Supported Living, developing strategies and processes, identifying new opportunities and establishing new services in support of business aims.
Manage the financial performance of services within the service area, including setting and managing budgets, ensuring the commerciality of the service by meeting targets.
Ensure that supported living activities meet all legislative and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and minimising potential risks.
Identify, plan, deliver and communicate new trends and insights relating to needs, behaviours and attitudes of current or potential future services.
Develop and actively manage relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately.
Audit and monitor performance of the service area against key performance indicators and contracts, investigating reasons for poor performance, recommend improvements and manage the implementation of solutions.
Manage the recruitment, performance management and development of quality staff to ensure that the resources are managed effectively to meet business needs.
Skills and experiences:   Comprehensive experience in young people's ofsted services (minimum 2 years) Experience of CQC and/or Ofsted, Housing Related Support Services                         Comprehensive knowledge of relevant current statutory legislation and good practice principles               Proven experience of local authority commissioning, budget preparation and cost control                         Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads                                            Proven experience of analysing and identifying problems and implementing effective solutions                Proven experience of stakeholder liaison and relationship building                                      Proven experience in staff management                                           Due to the nature of this role a full, current driving licence is essential as is a willingness to travel   Are you ready to be your best?
